"Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 Release Was "Largest And Most Successful" In Nike History

Nike's Fiscal 2017 Quarter 3 earnings were reported yesterday and the brand's president, Trevor Edwards, said last December's "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 release was their biggest release of all-time.

While Edwards did not mention specific numbers he noted, "The Space Jam 11 was the largest and most successful shoe launch in the history of Nike."

The brand will look to capitalize on the never-ending love for the Air Jordan 11 again this year with a couple of new colorways including a "Midnight Navy" joint which is rumored for December.

Thanks in part to the massive success of the Space Jam retro, Nike Inc's revenue increased 5% to $8.4 billion in the third quarter. You can check out their full report here.
