Frank Martin's #7 seeded South Carolina Gamecocks advanced to the Final Four yesterday afternoon, the first time in the school's history, and now they want all of their fans in Phoenix, Arizona to help keep their Cinderella dream alive.
Most of all, Gamecock fans want superfan Carlton Thompson, aka "Gamecock Jesus," in the building this Saturday.
In order to ensure that Gamecock Jesus is in Phoenix for the Final Four this weeknd, a GoFundMe page was recently set up with the goal of raising $3,500... and they've already surpassed it.
As of now, the GoFundMe page has raked in $4,620.
The Gamecocks will be taking on Gonzaga in the first Final Four game on Saturday, April 1st at 6:09 EST.
