The fairly one-sided Soulja Boy and Lil Yachty beef rages on today, and a diss track is now in the works from Soulja's side. According to (since-deleted) tweets from Lil Yachty, the two worked things out over the phone last night, but this morning, Soulja awoke to find Yachty's fans posting sailboat emojis in his mentions - emoji warfare being a common tactic among rival fanbases - and decided that was enough to get the feud going once again.
Since then, Soulja has promised a diss track titled "Fuck N*gga," and previewed clips of the upcoming diss on his Twitter. Yachty has stayed relatively quiet and level-headed throughout, though he did decide to diss Soulja on stage last night.
This all started over some a text Yachty sent Soulja Boy about India Love, a model Soulja had been posting pictures of on his Instagram account. India has made it clear she does not want to be associated with the beef whatsoever, and has contested Soulja Boy's claims that they were once romantically involved.
Yachty has continuously cited Soulja Boy as a major influence in his interviews prior to this feud. At one point, he had plans to record a Pretty Boy Millionaires 2 mixtape with Soulja and Lil B.
