Puma is teaming up with Sonic The Hedgehog for a sneaker collab later this year in celebration of the iconic Sega video game.
The collaboration will utilize the Puma Running Series (RS) model, a running sneaker from the 1980’s that is scheduled to make a comeback this summer. Given the massive popularity of the Sonic video game series, the Sega x PUMA RS-0 Sonic figures to be one of Puma's most popular sneaker releases of the Summer.
According to Sneaker News, Adam Petrick, Director for Brand & Marketing at PUMA says, “We’re excited to be able to partner with such a fun and innovative brand with a longstanding history in popular culture. We are one with SEGA in always pushing the boundaries forward and are very proud of the fantastic result of this collaboration."
The SEGA x Puma RS-0 Sonic, which is set to release this June, has not yet been fully revealed but you can get a taste of what to expect courtesy of the teaser video below.
