Just one day after Off-White's Virgil Abloh announced a collaboration with IKEA, Solange's crafted Saint Heron company and brand has followed suit with news of an exciting project with the Scandinavian furniture brand.
"Contemporary art is a huge part of people’s life today," Marcus Engman, head of design at IKEA Range & Supply said. "At IKEA we are curious about the creative space in between architecture, design, art, and music and how that could come alive in the homes of the many people. This is what we want to explore together with Saint Heron."
The pieces are said to involve "objects, space and architecture." If you've been following Solange on Instagram you're well aware of her creative eye when it comes to set design and a truly unique layout of space. Even her previous music videos from her album A Seat At The Table was all lead by her. It's safe to say her collaboration with IKEA will be memorable, to say the least.
