Sofia Richie is over in Australia doing a press run for Windsor Smith shoes and chatting to a number of publications along the way. The 20-year-old reportedly had a list of topics she did not want to discuss that included her relationship with Scott Disick and her legendary father Lionel Richie. Despite her efforts to not talk about things that make her famous unwillingly, she still managed to share tib bits of information on her personal life and her aspirations outside of modeling.
"My dad had me in singing lessons from a really young age and I've played piano with my dad growing up, so I have that part of me," she told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. "But it's a lot of pressure, my dad is a really respected soul singer and I feel like that is a lot of responsibility. To take it on, I'd have to do it 100 percent and I'm not ready to do that."
She explained how she doesn't want fans to think she's trying to "burn down" her dad's work. "I have to try and find my own way," she said. "But I can also never get away from the fact my dad is Lionel Richie either."
As for Scott, she says the two of them are "very lovey-dovey."
"We are best friends and that is mainly the strongest connection we have. We have always had that best friend connection and from there it has really worked out. I am so happy."
