15-year-old Smooky Margielaa made a strong impression across multiple tracks on ASAP Mobs The Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, and he's continued to release music since. After dropping "Misfit" last week, Smooky has shared "The Judge," a spacy track that builds in intensity through the rapper's melodic vocal performance. Smooky has cited late South Carolina rapper Speaker Knockerz as an inspiration, and the rapper's influence looms heavily over "The Judge."

The rapper hails from the Bronx, a borough that has recently produced rap stars Cardi B and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. We spoke to the rapper about his introduction to music in a recent interview. "Music runs in my blood," he said. "Since I was a youngin’ I was watching baby videos of me and I was playing the drums. Like it's some hing called “djembe” they play it in Africa, it’s an African instrument, you know? That’s what I used to play. I used to hit that all the time. My dad is a singer from Africa. Feel me? So I just carried on from that. When I really started rapping? Probably like two years ago. Feel me? But before that I was like playing instruments. You know?"

The rapper has a few projects on the horizon, which he also spoke of in our sit-down with him. "Right now, MMM [Margielaa Mad Man] produced by Cash Money AP is coming," he said. "Then I have another mixtape coming called A Tribe Called Grape on the way. Oh! "Blitz Gang." It’s a song has been pending for a while now but I’m about to drop it soon. Real soon." No word if "The Judge" will appear on any of those projects.

Quotable Lyrics:
Oh shit, new whip
I just came through in a new whip
I just came with a new fit
Gucci my belt, Gucci my kick
