While Smoke DZA may come from New York, he's not afraid to take his talents out West, and he's proving that in his latest music video for "The Hook Up," off his Not For Sale album, and features Californian rappers Dom Kennedy and Cozz.
Much like the song, the video takes it very easy. No one in this video moves faster than a slow crawl, presumably because they're all too smoked out to put in the effort. Smoke, Dom, and Cozz play the three musketeers in this video, rarely being apart as they prowl around the streets of L.A. in a convertible. The song promotes coast to coast unity, and the video only helps solidify the strength of camaraderie present.
