Two different boroughs are represented on this new track from Harlem’s Smoke DZA and Brooklyn’s Manolo Rose. “Black Elite” is the first single from the duo’s forthcoming collaborative project 867 Madison. It features the rejuvenated Royce Da 5’9”, as all three emcees come correct with their verses.

The track was produced by 183rd Music, who puts together a beat that perfectly balances the popular trap sounds of today with more sample-heavy old school joints of past years. The best part? The vocal sample comes from Shaquille O’Neal’s “Still Can’t Stop the Reign.”

Royce Da 5’9” is about to drop Trust The Shooter and Layers, while Smoke DZA just released He Has Risen with Harry Fraud.

Quotable Lyrics

I'm a Detroit playa
go put that on your guest list
and hope I don't show up with killas
them addicts with death wishes
& dipped with the finest of fabrics, yeah the streets know us
we dress good, guess we them wolves in sheep's clothing

- Royce Da 5'9"
