One of the most polarizing figures in the UK to emerge in 2019 is slowthai. Though he built a dedicated fanbase in the years leading out to his big breakout, he's managed to maintain the spirit of punk while simultaneously building off of what the forefathers of grime set. Things took a bit of a left turn at the top of the year following his appearance at the NME Award show where he made some sexually suggestive remarks towards the host. Though he apologized, he kept low-key ever since.

Earlier today, he returned with his latest banger, "ENEMY." Channeling punk rock energy with a Soundcloud-esque distorted bass, he delivers an aggressive banger to mark his return while spitting at a rapid-fire pace. slowthai, samo & kwes darko hold down the production on the track.

Peep the record below.

Quotable Lyrics
I'm a dream chaser
Days are numbered
Big bum, I need a bumper sticker
What the bomba? That's my Misses
Fuck around, put some children in her
