It'll be out "first week of April," according to an Instagram post from Ski Mask.
After some unexpected delays, Ski Mask The Slump God is confident his long-teased project Beware The Book Of Eli will be out next month. The First Week Of April You’ll Hear The 📓🔥 Positive Comments Only," he wrote on Instagram, using a book emoji to represent the project.
Earlier this month, Ski Mask confirmed a few of the songs that will appear on the project. "Run," "Nationwide," "With Vengeance," "Lost Souls" which features Rich The Kid, "Boy Meets World," "The Coolest Monkey In The Jungle," were among the titles listed.
The rapper has previously expressed that the project will feature familiar beats and samples, including some iconic old-school hip-hop beats. In January, he revealed that it was these sample clearances that were holding the project back. "STUPID MOTHERFUCKERS, YOU CANT GET RID OF ME, STFU ABOUT THE TAPE MY SAMPLES ARE BEING CLEARED ITS NOT EASY TO USE SHIT LIKE THE BOY MEETS WORLD THEME SONG AS A SAMPLE," he wrote on Instagram. He shared the official artwork for the project earlier this year.
On top of The Book Of Eli, Ski Mask is also working on an as-of-yet-untitled project with Timbaland. It's expected to feature a guest appearance from Busta Rhymes. He's recently teased collaborations with both Smooky Margiela and Blac Chyna, but it is unclear which project, if any, they will appear on.
