When it comes to music, Ski Mask the Slump God is the equivalent of a mood ring. Dude does whatever he wants, exploring different styles and production aesthetics seemingly on a whim. While this serves as a strength to showcase his versatility, it's also simultaneously a bit of a weakness; sometimes, I wish Ski Mask would pick a direction and master it before moving on.
With that being said, dude is talented. He absolutely destroyed Timbaland & Missy's "She's A Bitch" instrumental, and his rapping ability is undeniably dope. You won't hear that on this latest joint "Help Me," which finds Ski Mask slowing things down in an emotional plea. Check it out, and sound off below.
