In the relatively short period of time we've been hip to his music, Shy Glizzy's made it well-known that he's a fan of basketball metaphors (swish). Today, he keeps that reputation going with "Score," a song with artwork that shows someone double-fisting the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy and a handgun with an extendo.
Rapping about gunning down his rivals, Glizzy exclaims "He shoots, he scores!" as the shot clock buzzer goes off in the background. He also extends the metaphor to apply to crack sales, rapping, "They gon' pass Jefe the rock, 'cause they know for sure I'm gon' score."
Hey little boy, Jefe say go do your chores
These niggas some whores
Wipe 'em out, show no remorse
I might go hop in that Porsche
Go buy my new bitch a horse
Soon as I hopped off the porch
I started flamin' that torch
