Meet the first rapper signed to Jack White's Third Man Records.
It was in the middle of December that Third Man Records, the company founded by guitarist and singer Jack White known for his role in duo The White Stripes, announced that they'd officially inked a deal with their first Hip-Hop act with a very simple message reading, "We signed our first rapper. Stay tuned," on Instagram.
At the top of this year, the label revealed said rapper to be Queens-bred emcee SHIRT, and in conjunction with the official announcement, SHIRT has delivered on the visuals for his "Flight Home" track, a cut produced by San Holo.
Currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Europe, SHIRT is due to release his debut album Pure Beauty on February 9th with a physical release to follow on the 23rd of the same month.
