Sheck Wes is relatively new to the game, but he's showing promising signs of becoming the next biggest star. The rapper penned a joint deal with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack label and Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music earlier this year. Shortly after, his single, "Mo Bamba" began to make some serious noise. The track was initially released in 2017, but it began to gain major traction over the past few months. As it began to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, we've seen the rapper's single climb higher and higher towards the top which has resulted in the rapper's top 10 single.

Sheck Wes' "Mo Bamba" has undoubtedly been one of the biggest songs of the year. Although it began bubbling on the Internet, the hype around the song began to translate into mainstream success. The song is Sheck Wes' first Billboard entry ever. Last week, the song was sitting at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and now, it's moved its way up by six positions, making it his first official top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The song's position on the chart was predominantly driven streaming activity. This week, it climbed from 6 to 4 on the Streaming Songs chart while making a major leap from 38 to 19 on the Digital Song Sales.

While "Mo Bamba" is currently doing numbers on the board, Sheck Wes recently released his debut album, Mudboy in early October which includes his top 10 single.
