Tomi Lahren has occasionally dipped her toe in hip-hop adjacent waters, from going head-to-head with Wale to lipsyncing 21 Savage's "Bank Account." Still, the conservative pundit ultimately stands on the outside looking in for myriad reasons, though her association with Fox News is likely a dominant factor. Outsider status hasn't stopped Lahren from offering her two cents, and it so happens that Kanye's recent Trump support has kept his name in Republican headlines. Lahren recently took to Twitter to set the record straight about her thoughts on Yeezy, which ultimately set her up for Shannon Sharpe to come through with a savage dunk.

"Let’s be clear, I’m not with Taylor and I’m not with Kanye," writes Lahren, via Twitter. "I’m not for celebrities that pop off of sh*t they don’t understand. Period." She is, of course, alluding to both Taylor Swift and Kanye West's recent forays into the political forum. Yet Shannon Sharpe misses no detail, and hit Lahren's comment section with the counter-riposte.

"You supported and voted for a celebrity that won the presidency," writes Sharpe, no doubt ashing a Black & Mild. "That doesn't know much more than them. PERIOD." He concludes with an army of eye-roll emojis for good measure. Peep the exchange below, and sound off. Has the political climate gone too far, or should more celebrities start weighing in on foreign policy?
