Shania Twain, the same famed singer who was hanging out with Nicki Minaj, Quavo, French Montana, The Weeknd and more at Coachella has admitted that she would have voted for president Donald Trump because he's "transparent."
Shania wasn't able to cast her vote because she's Canadian, but if she was given the chance we now know who she would have gone for. "I would have voted for him because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest," she told The Guardian. "Do you want straight or polite? Not that you shouldn't be able to have both. If I were voting, I just don't want bullsh-t. I would have voted for a feeling that it was transparent. And politics has a reputation of not being that, right?"
Donald has been the center of attention for several scandals that are both sexual and political. It's hard to say whether Shania still supports the President but seeing as her statement leaves a few questions, she may very well follow-up with some sort of clarification.
As for her 15-year musical hiatus due to Lyme Disease and the loss of her voice, the 52-year-old thought she would never sing again. "I did want a break. But, of course, I would have never stayed away 15 years." She said, "I was too embarrassed to tell anybody that I couldn't sing. For a long time, I didn't even know why I couldn't sing."
