Selena Gomez is currently receiving treatment after having a "nervous breakdown" last week at the hospital.

It appears things aren’t going too good right now for Selena Gomez. According to TMZ, the 26-year-old singer has been hospitalized twice in the past 2 weeks,  and the second time she suffered what sources called an “emotional breakdown.” She is currently a mental health facility for treatment.

Sources say Selena was at her Studio City, CA home the last week of September when the first emergency hit. She apparently was despondent and emotional over an alarmingly low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant. Sources say a family member drove her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.

After being released days later, Selena had to be re-admitted last week because her low blood cell count persisted, and it threw Selena into a complete meltdown. Not being able to leave, Selena reportedly “freaked out” and was trying to rip IV's out of her arm. Several sources called the episode "an emotional breakdown.”

As of now, Selena is currently at an East Coast psychiatric facility and is receiving dialectical behavior therapy, aka DBT. The therapy treats various mental health disorders, which Selena has received in the past.
