Relationships always have their ups and downs. Though there may not have been one as closely-documented as the relationship of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. The celebrity couple first started seeing each other as teenagers and have been sporadically considered a couple over the years. After her break up with RnB star The Weeknd, Selena found herself back with Bieber in late 2017. A source says that the couple is once again taking a break; although it's not a break up.
Speaking with E!, a source said that the celebs need space but are still in contact. "They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed."
As mentioned, this isn't a new concept for Bieber and Gomez who have managed to return to one another various times. The source continued, "They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other." The couple have had happier times, recently going on trips to Mexico, Jamaica, and Laguna Beach. As to the future of "Jelena", as they're referred to, only time will tell.
