11 year ago today, Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor passed away after being shot during a home invasion at his Miami home 10 days earlier. The 24-year old star's sudden death shocked the sports world to it's core as he was only scratching the surface of his potential.

Taylor, who played his college ball at the University of Miami, was selected fifth overall by the Redskins in the 2004 NFL Draft and quickly established himself as one of the most explosive, hard-hitting safeties that the game had ever seen. He earned Pro Bowl honors in two of his four NFL seasons (2006, 2007), which provided us with one of the most iconic hits in the history of the sport.

Buffalo Bills punter Brian Moorman will surely never forget the time he tried to run a fake punt in the '06 Pro Bowl.
