Last month Seal was accused of sexual assault by his former neighbour Tracey Birdsall. The actress said Seal made unwanted sexual advances in February of 2016 when she went to his home to retrieve a salad spinner she had lent him.
When Seal made his move on Tracey, she jumped back and denied him. Seal allegedly made references to her outfit saying she was asking for it. TMZ is now reporting that the case against Seal has been dropped since there isn't enough evidence and witnesses. The L.A. County District Attorney's Office also stated that the statute of limitations has run out.
Tracey decided to come forward with her story after Seal made comments urging women to share their stories of sexual assault.
"To all of you who have been raped, to all of you who have been sexually abused, I applaud you for coming forward," Seal said in a video. "What you did takes real courage and please keep showing that courage and please keep coming forward because that's the only way that we get to solve this thing. We talk about it, we open dialogue, we solve it."
Seal has vehemently denied all accusations.
