Scott Disick and Sofia Richie defied the odds for years, but it's recently been reported that the couple has decided to break up.

This was a romance that many believed would go the distance, but after three years of bliss, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have decided to end their relationship. According to multiple reports, the 37-year-old reality star recently celebrated his birthday with ex-wife Kourtney Kardashian along with the remainder of the famous family while the 21-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie decided not to attend.

"Sofia thinks Scott has a lot on his plate right now and thinks it's best for them to be apart so he can focus on himself," E! News reports a source told them of the breakup. "She is only looking out for him and his best interest and it was primarily her decision for them to split. Sofia has been spending time with her family and has taken majority of her stuff out of Scott's house."

Recently, Scott Disick checked himself into a rehabilitation center to help deal with the emotions of losing his mother. There were allegations that Disick was once again abusing drugs, but his representative vehemently denied the rumors. While there has also been gossip that Disick has quickly moved on from his relationship with Sofia Riche and found himself back into the arms of Kourtney, there hasn't been anything to confirm those reports.
