ScHoolboy Q talks about some artists he's working with in the near future.
ScHoolboy Q is currently on his Groovy Tour with fellow TDE-mate Ab-Soul. While on a stop in Connecticut, Q spoke to XXL about some features he has coming up.
Although Lloyd Banks has pushed back his mixtape V6,  there's still good news, since ScHoolboy Q will be featured on the tape.
"I just did a feature for Lloyd Banksâ new project, V6," he continued, "Itâs a dope track. Real mellow. I heard his verse, he gave me direction. I donât ever do verses for people if they donât give me no type of direction. If thatâs the case, it might as well be my song. They donât necessarily have to give me a verse, but a hook or something."
Q also revealed other collaborations he has lined up, including work with 50 Cent, A-Trak, Danny Brown & Childish Gambino.
"Me and 50 [Cent] about to do some shit. I got some shit Iâma do with A-Trak, Danny Brown, Childish Gambinoâhe just hit me up last night."
On working with 50 Cent, whom he's mentioned as a big influence on him, he says, "We trying to get it together, we trying to pick the right record," he said. "I donât wanna just jump into nothinâ, and give him anything. It gotta be right record. Same thing with him. But we definitely talk. Every time we see each other, we talk. We chop it up for like and hour. It ainât just like, âOh, whatâs up with you, how you doinâ?â Last time we saw each other [in New York], we chopped it up for a long time. Good dude. We gonna get it together. Everybody knows that we fuck with each other, or I fuck with him, so we donât wanna do nothinâ cliché. Gotta be right."
