It’s been a hot minute since we last heard any new music from Schoolboy Q. In fact, with exception to some features, the last time the TDE rapper hit us with his some music of his own was back in 2016 with the release his Blank Face LP, but that looks to be changing here soon. Last month, Top Dawg revealed that Q’s album was about 90-95% done, and now Q is dropping hints that we’re getting close too.
Last week, Schoolboy Q retuned to Instagram with his first post after wiping his page clean, leaving a photo of him working in the lab, and now he's just done it again. On Monday night, Q shared another photo of him in the lab, this time admitting in the caption that he wanted to hype fans up with some “cool caption” but said fuck it in true Q fashion.
“Was tHinkin of sum corny as caption 2 write 2 get y’all Hyped about tHe album... so fuck It. THis niggaH took da pic braH @xonie_,” he captioned the photo.
We'll have to wait and find out the details on the album, but all signs are pointing that it's coming soon.
