On Wednesday night, TDE & Schoolboy Q held a private listening party in NYC for Q’s sophomore album Blank Face, which was being hosted by Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg. While running through the records, Q decided to be brutally honest about some of the song choices & collaborations, claiming the label “made him” put a couple of the features on there in hopes for another successful single like 2014’s “Studio” with BJ The Chicago Kid.

Reports have been flooding twitter that Q specifically talked about the record “Overtime” with Miguel & Justin Skye. Q reportedly called the record a "bootleg” version of “Studio,” and that “they made me put it on the album.” While Q didn’t agree with the label’s decision at first, he apparently did come around to say that they made the right choice at the end of the day to put the song on the album.

Check out the clips & tweets from peers & media publications from the listening party (below). Blank Face LP arrives July 8. Pre-order it now on iTunes.
