Fans have been eagerly waiting for ScHoolboy Q to drop his follow-up to 2016's Blank Face LP. Back in May, the rapper said that the project was completed although that was quickly shut down by Top Dawg who claimed it was "fake news." He revealed that it was "90 to 95% done" at the end of July. Despite being on tour and saying the album was done on tour, the rapper's been absent from social media, specifically Instagram. After wiping out his entire page, the rapper made his triumphant return and gave us hope that a new album is on the horizon.

ScHoolboy Q is back on Instagram and this could indicate that his new album is right around the corner. The rapper shared a set of photos of himself locked in the studio working on his album with the caption, "Been awHile." Q's Instagram is a constant stream of entertainment whether he's clowning his homies like Danny Brown and Tyler, The Creator or roasting his own daughter.

Over the past year, it's become a trend among rappers to clear out their Instagram page before making their return ahead of a new project. Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Future have all done it recently so it's not far fetched that Q would follow suit. Hopefully, a new Q album comes this fall but we'll have to wait for Top Dawg to give the green light.
