Earlier in the Summer, Childish Gambino had the internet buzzing when he called out Drake, Kendrick, & Schoolboy Q during a live freestyle in Sydney. Gambino later explained why he targeted those rappers, telling The Breakfast Club, “I said those rappers in particular because I feel like they’re the best. I’m sure they’re fine with it.”
Well it turns out that he was right, and Schoolboy Q wasn’t trippin at all about it. In a new interview with Montreality, Puffy says: “Gambino throwing shots? I ain’t tripping. I fuck with Gambino. It was a freestyle. He probably didn’t even mean to say that. I ain’t tripping.”
Seeing how the interview is nearly 9 minutes in length, Q also talked about several other topics in the video, including the type of student he was, his first big pay check, favorite video game, the most romantic thing he’s ever done, his message to the youth, and much more.
