The wait is finally over as ScHoolboy Q's official follow-up to 2016's Blank Face LP is currently underway. Fans have been pestering Top Dawg and Q for information on the project but they've been keeping things under wraps. Yesterday, Q began teasing the rollout for the new project yesterday by hinting at something coming in two days. Many thought it was the album, but that doesn't seem to be the case. However, he did confirm that the first single from the project would arrive tomorrow night.
Although he hasn't shared a title for the song, ScHoolboy Q gave fans a little teaser as to what to expect tomorrow night. The rapper shared footage of himself in the studio listening to the single which is set to drop tomorrow night. Q spits the first few bars a capella before dark and haunting instrumental kicks in.
"Two-door coup, hoppin' out like Jack In The Box/ N***a, I'm gon' shoot if this .30's all that I got/ N***a, time's up, got my coins up, my bars up/ So we find 'em, we gon' slide on 'em, lined 'em," he's heard rapping on the track.
Many, including Q, anticipated that the album would drop in 2018 but the rapper revealed that he was going to push it back. Following the death of Mac Miller, Q told an audience at his concert that he didn't feel right releasing the project, especially because he already knew he'd have to answer a ton of questions about the death of his friend.
