Last week, Kendrick Lamar surprised fans when he came out of nowhere & released the new song “The Heart Pt. 4,” which saw him sending a warning to other rappers to get their shit together before April 7. That closing line alone sent shockwaves throughout the internet that we might be just a couple weeks away from hearing K.Dot’s next album, and on Thursday evening K.Dot further solidified those rumors by releasing a second single called “HUMBLE.”
Immediately following the release of “HUMBLE” though, fellow TDE rapper Schoolboy Q decided to let the hat out of the bag on his Snapchat & confirm that Kendrick does have a new album on the way. “When you got the whole album and can finally put your jam on snapchat” Q captioned. And from that caption, it kinda sounds like the album is already finished.
Unfortunately, Q didn’t mention anything about the April 7th release date that fans are hoping for (which by the way is next Friday), but at least we know for sure it's coming.
