ScHoolboy Q is fresh off the release of his latest project, CrasH Talk, his first album since 2016. The rapper is back in the media circuit, a rare occasion that comes around every few years when his album drops. The rapper recently sat down with Ebro Darden on Beats1 today where he got candid about the rise of TDE as well as hip-hop media's coverage of Nipsey Hussle's death, specifically The Source.

"Like the Source and then they post that video of Nipsey dead, the Source forever," Q told Ebro. "They posted a video of Nipsey getting killed and I hope everybody hears this. Fuck The Source. How you do that to us? You wanna listen to our music, you wanna report about us, but you wanna post some shit like this? Like, come on, bruh. That's not fair. And then y'all want us to be showing love and shit like, man, that's silly. Like, fuck them dawg and any rapper that fucks with them, any person that fucks with them, fuck you too. I don't give a fuck what rapper it is. You fucking do an interview with them after that, anything, fuck you. You're a bitch."

Later on, Q touched on Mac's death.

"It was like a TD member type thing. He was always a honorary TD member. We always said he's the fifth Black Hippy member. You know what I mean? Like the white Black Hippy member," he said.
