When experts draft lists of the top hip hop albums of all time, Nas' Illmatic often comes up. The Queens native celebrated the 23rd anniversary of his debut album's release with ScHoolboy Q at Sweet Chick in L.A.
The TDE rapper posted a clip of himself partying with Nasty Nas at the restaurant while "The World Is Yours" blasted through the speakers. Billboard reports two years ago, the New York native started an association with Sweet Chick -- a chicken a waffles joint -- to expand the brand across the nation.
The eatery often sets up pop up performances featuring renowned hip hop artists. They just opened the L.A. branch.
