SauceLordRich of production duo FKi dropped a mixtape of productions he’s worked on over the past year, and “Swag On” is a highlight. The rapping is done by the late Bankroll Fresh, and it’s still great to hear the promise that Bankroll showed on the mic.
FKi’s production is as on point as ever. Synths sizzle slowly over sparse 808s, giving the song an almost futuristic sound. Meanwhile, Bankroll Fresh raps using imagery to describe how he will “swag on these hoes.” The whole song seems to build, but doesn’t have a proper drop. It would have served as an excellent intro track for Bankroll Fresh.
