Larry Baer has been with the organization since 1996.
San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer was caught on camera getting into a physical altercation with his wife Pamela. In the video, you can see the two in an argument with Larry standing up and Pamela sitting down. Larry then goes over to Pamela and tries to rip what looks like a phone out of her hands. The two then get into a bit of a tussle which results in Pamela being taken to the ground. During the altercation, Pamela can be heard screaming "Oh my god. Help!" and repeatedly saying "Oh my god. Oh my god."
TMZ Sports was able to speak to Pamela Baer who explained the situation saying "We were having a family fight about someone in my family and that's it." Meanwhile, Larry Baer spoke to the San Francisco Chronicle and told the same story.
"My wife and I had an unfortunate public argument related to a family member & she had an injured foot and she fell off her chair in the course of the argument," Baer said. "The matter is resolved. It was a squabble over a cell phone. Obviously, it’s embarrassing.”
Baer has been with the Giants since 1996 when he was named Chief Operating Officer. Since then, Baer became team president in 2008 and then CEO in 2012.
TMZ has reported that police are now interviewing the person who took the video as well as those who witnessed the altercation take place.
