When news broke that Nicki Minaj was single again, her former beau Safaree Samuels was one of the first suitors. Samuels recently visited DJ Self's radio show on Power 105.1 FM to recant. Now, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star says he only wants to do music with his ex.
“I don’t know, Self,” Safaree told the Power 105.1 disc jockey when asked if he wanted “that old thing back." "Not in the light of bringing it back to what it was. But just on the work tip, I think the culture needs that," he added.
Samuels and Minaj were in a relationship for close to ten years. Two weeks ago though, Safaree was ready to square up with Meek Mill over her. Meek had offered to fight Drake for $5 million in an IG video.
“Drake don’t got time but I do,” Safaree replied on Meek's Instagram post. The Philly rapper has since shut down his account. The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star claimed on Self's radio show he has been training at Floyd Mayweather’s gym. Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked then asked him about who would win in a three-round bout between he and Meek.
