Safaree Samuels has had his share of up's and down's over the course of his career, but yesterday, the rapper/TV personality took to Instagram to give thanks to a woman who he says is "saving lives."
Samuels singled out Mona Scott-Young for helping give his career a much-needed boost in what he called one of the "darkest times in my life" and even went so far as to say that "this is our Oprah." Scott-Young is the person responsible for casting Samuels on Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood, the successful reality show that has since become the catalyst for further opportunity in the industry for Safaree, who is now prepping his own show.
