Two of Chicago's finest, Saba and Tink, collaborated at the RedBull Sound Select Studios. The resulting song, "Temporary," produced by CHAD, is slow-moving to start but the energy floods in when Saba starts rapping. Tink provides a mix of singing and rapping as her contribution.
"I make a lot of my songs as reminders to myself," Saba told the Fader of the collaboration. "I came to Tink knowing what I wanted to say, but not exactly how I wanted to say it. I know the concept of time comes up a lot in my music. The song 'Temporary' was really just a note to myself that all suffering is temporary."
You empty handed with a temper tantrum
If God is greed then by all means
Trade a silver lining for a silver dollar
You'll get in proper with an Impala
