Ryan Jacob is an Australian-based producer who, even if you're not yet familiar with, he's stealthy built up a 10,000+ following on Soundcloud. The blessings of the Internet Age. After having production on Ottawa rapper, Night Lovell's, new album Red Teenage Melody (and it was one of the project's stand out cuts, "Guidance" featuring Nessly), the producer drops off his own single today featuring an array of Soundcloud up and comers. Dylan Brady, Lil West, Lil Aaron, Curtis Heron and Lewis Grant run in similar circles although they're not in a 'crew,' they are frequent collaborators and their sounds mix well together. "Been Around" features Brady's moody crooning, West's gruff vocals, Aaron's melodic flow, bass-pounding production from Jacob-- each artist bringing their strength to the table. Take a listen.
