Now that Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have been eliminated from the NFL playoffs, Wilson is turning his sights on baseball. If you remember, last year Wilson attended spring training with the New York Yankees and even got to play in a game. This year, Wilson plans to do the exact same thing, according to his agent Mark Rodgers.

Wilson was actually a baseball player with NC State and played within the Colorado Rockies organization for two seasons, according to Sports Illustrated. When Wilson played with the Yankees last year, it was his first competitive baseball match since 2011.

The Seahawks quarterback got one at-bat in the game but ended up striking out. This year's spring training will take place in mid-February with the Yankees playing their first game on February 23rd against the Boston Red Sox.

Wilson was selected to the Pro Bowl this year after a solid season with Seattle where he posted 35 touchdowns and 3,448 passing yards.

How do you think Wilson's spring training will go? Are you looking forward to seeing him at the plate?
