Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam television series, a rather iconic series that became a Hip-Hop staple of the earlier part of the 21st century, may be up for the ill rebirth.
It was Friday [July 14] that the mogul tweeted out that he was currently in negotiations with Chance the Rapper to host the new rework, now dubbed All Def Poetry.
"Super excited," he wrote. "Would u guys like to see that #Emmys."
The tweet also made note of the fact, that should it return, All Def Poetry would be back on HBO, the same network it called home during its five-year run.
