Beyonce and Jay Z don't only have their sights on domination of New York, but potentially Chicago too-- it's been rumored that Bey and Jay have purchased the renowned New Regal Theater in Chi-town.
The theater was reportedly purchased for the sum of $250,000, and the buyer is reportedly the power couple. The New Regal Theater which seats 2,500 people was first opened in 1927 as the Avalon Theater, and it closed down in 2003 because of money loss. However, the venue once played hosts to the likes of Etta James, Miles Davis, Billy Holiday and Nat King Cole.
