Currently rumors are swirling that J. Cole has got engaged to his college sweetheart. The Cole World rapper has always kept his personal life relatively low-key, although he has mentioned his lady, Melissa Heholt, in an interview or two in the past, there are still not many details about the two. Now it appears as though the couple could be making things official, following in the footsteps of both Kanye West and Future.
Several media outlets have been reporting the news that J. Cole got engaged, among them, MediaTakeOut (not the most reliable), MTV News, XXL, and J. Cole's alma mater-- St. John's University in Queens. The official Twitter for the university sent out a tweet that read, "Congrats to @JColeNC on his engagement to his @StJohnsU college sweetheart #SJU #ColeWorld."
The rapper himself has yet to say anything on the matter. We'll update you once we have confirmation either way about this.
