In a beef that not many saw coming, Royce Da 5'9" and Tory Lanez engaged in a war of words on Twitter after Royce claimed that Joyner Lucas won the rap between the two. Royce's comments led Tory saying that he could beat the "Caterpillar" rapper in a battle, something Royce was having none of. Well, now the two have finally made up after the Twitter exchange devolved into threats of violence.

Yesterday, Tory tweeted that the two had had a "productive conversation," and that the beef was officially squashed. Now Royce has taken to Instagram to reflect on the beef saying "Who am I to not accept an apology." In his caption, Royce added "If you’re out here hustling tryna provide for people, I don’t care what kind of music you make or what generation it is, I don’t have to like it, I want nothing but the best for you... Peace, Peace"

Royce adds in the video that he himself has made mistakes while maneuvering the industry and that it would be hypocritical for him to judge Tory so harshly and not accept the apology.

Although, now that the beef is squashed, we probably won't be hearing any diss tracks from the two any time soon. Which considering how well Tory did in the Joyner battle, it would have been an interesting fight.
