Trix and Lil Pump are both for the kids, so it's no surprise that the Floridian rapper is referencing the sugar-packed cereal on his brand new track. Colliding with up-and-coming trend-setter Ronny J, both rappers flex over some smooth production, painting a vivid picture of everything they'll do to your bitch. It's less intense than some of J's other production work, with less distortion and more focus on melodic cohesion, at once hypnotic and hard. As for Lil Pump, he's actually spitting some flow on this one, and his verse may impress those who expecting another "D Rose."
However, as two of the new wave's most prolific figures, it's inevitable that Pump and Ronny J will be subjected to hate from any and all who resent "mumble rap." Regardless of where you stand, you can do a lot worse than "TRIXXX." While it might be one of the worst breakfast cereals of all time, it's a surprisingly nice track.
