We've had our eye on Atlanta's Rome Fortune for more than a minute now, since he dropped Beautiful Pimp in 2013 which he followed up this year with Beautiful Pimp II (both of which had amazing cover artwork). Although the latter mixtape just arrived in February, Rome Fortune is back at work with his go-to producer Dun Deal for a new EP, Drives, Thighs, & Lies which will arrive on April 30th. The extended play will be entirely produced by Dun Deal, and today we've got a new leak off it titled "Damn Good, Damn Different", which basically encapsulates Rome Fortune in a nutshell-- as he reiterates through out the track. Stop sleeping.

Dun Deal offers up minimal production for this one. Coincidentally, one of Dun Deal's beats which was designated for Drives, Thighs, & Lies happened to appear on Kevin Gates' By Any Means ("Stop Lyin'") so Rome also released that record as a leak recently (his version is called "Trap Pop" and you can listen to it here).

What are your thoughts on Rome?

Quotable Lyrics

I said it seems like I'm the only real man alive
And I hope that's not fair
But I won't go back, like I won't go back
To the 50 cent packs
And rhyming, that shit is jive
If you wanna see me fall
Then make me fall
