Rockie Fresh, the ever-underrated and overlooked MMG member it seems, came through with a new release early this morning. Following a lot of BET Awards drama, which continues to unravel this afternoon, we're getting a series of new music drops from artists, including a potential mega-hit from Future and Chris Brown.
For his new release, Rockie Fresh hearkens back to Electric Highway track "Nobody" but still delivers an entirely fresh sound on his "Praise Freestyle (Nobody Remix)" thanks to producer Gift. He gets a soul-infused, piano-laden beat that bigs up his career and his fellow Chi-town rappers: Chance The Rapper and Joey Purp both get shout outs.
Rockie Fresh released a trio of new songs towards the end of May as well. Electric Highway 2 is on the way.
