Toronto singer Rochelle Jordan returned last month after a brief hiatus, dropping off a remix of her track "Lowkey" that featured JMSN. Today, she pairs with another promising young artist (Iamsu!) for a new track called "Playa 4 Life."
A guitar-led song that begins by seeming like a ballad, but soon unveils a propulsive beat to kick up the intensity, "Playa 4 Life" is certainly more melencholy than its title suggests. Suzy lightens the mood a bit with a verse that includes a slight riff on Kanye's "presence is a present" line, but his bars are still very in-keeping with the song's overall theme.
