If you've scrolled on Instagram today, you've probably come across a few posts of Robert Pattinson since the Twilight actor has been cast as Batman in the upcoming reboot by Matt Reeves and Warner Bros. Variety reports that it's not yet a "done deal" but the contracts are supposed to close soon as Robert is the top choice.
Pre-production for the film will begin this summer. If Robert does secure the deal (which looks very promising) he will be the youngest actor to play the role at 32. Robert's role as Batman will be picked up from Ben Affleck who was the previous lead and director but parted from the project due to creative differences.
"I want to be misunderstood," previously stated when discussing his career and people's opinions. "People are always changing, and the more you put something down in print, people form opinions and they're constantly creating who they think you are. If you do something that contradicts that, or if you do something which goes out of that box, then you can look like a liar or something like that."
