Toronto continues to put out dope music. Rob GF is different from the popular sound that Tory Lanez and others have been riding to the top of the charts, and he take exception to the idea that Toronto should only have one sound.
On “Statue,” Rob GF raps vicious verses about his city getting complacent with its success. In an interview with Mass Appeal he states, “I wrote ’Statue’ to quiet the hype of what’s currently being praised in Toronto. Music is easily manufactured today and most of it sounds the same.”
Rob GF has something different to bring to the game, and we’re excited to see if he shakes things up in Drizzy’s city. His project Angry is dropping soon.
