Ro Ransom has been relatively quiet so far in 2017. In fact, the only record we’ve received thus far was back in June when he shared a song with Jazz Cartier called “Prettiest,” but prior to that we would have to revisit November’s release “Doppelganger” to hear the last from the NYC native. Looking to change all that though, Ro decides to return to the scene today & share a new single called “Stop The World.”

Going in over production from Leven Kali, Ro delivers an electronic, pop-friendly record that finds him addressing relationship issues with some voice effects intact. Highlighted by its upbeat production & dance-friendly rhythm, “Stop The World” is another strong addition to Ro’s steady growing catalogue of hits. It’s unclear at the moment on where this record will end up, but helpfully there’s more on the way or better yet a project for that matter. It feels like we’re way overdue.

Hit play & let us know what you think. If you wish to catch Ro Ransom live in person, you’re in luck, the NYC emcee is hitting the road this Fall with Witt Lowry for an upcoming tour. Peep dates for that tour right here if interested.

Quotable Lyrics:

I'll stop the world to make it right if something's wrong
I'll stop the world to make you mine 'cause you're the one, you're the one
And I don't wanna wait, not another day
I think I would die to be alone with you
And we could run away to a better place
There ain't nothin' here for us but me and you
