Ro James returns with "Too Much," the latest single off his upcoming sophomore effort, MANTIC. Ro has been to leading up to the release of MANTIC with a handful of singles, including his most recent drop, "Plan B," with Brandy. Now, he's called on R&B heavyweight, Miguel, to assist him on the effortlessly passionate, "Too Much."

MANTIC is set to be released next Friday, May 29th. Speaking on what inspired the album, Ro said, "The music I create evokes a feeling of romance, but I wanted to dissect that word and break it down by taking the 'ro' out of it. MANTIC refers to divination and prophecy—seeking knowledge of the future through supernatural means. Speaking things into existence and living forward, having faith in where you’re supposed to be and where you’re going.” Check out "Too Much" and get ready for MANTIC to drop next week.

Quotable Lyrics

Tired of treating love like it's real estate
Girl, let's build this up and make our great escape
You say you want relationship like Bey and Jay
Know that could be us, but baby girl you playin'
Just one text, fuck around and relapse
We say we're done and then we're running right back
